A Word From Past Participants

Participating in the grief and loss equine facilitated support group not only provided a safe and nurturing space but also proved to be immensely beneficial for me.

With the compassionate guidance of the facilitators and the calming presence of the horses, I felt supported to confront my emotions with courage and resilience, ultimately experiencing profound healing and growth.

Each session became a profound exploration of both sorrow and hope, leading me to discover new ways for honoring my loss while embracing the possibility of renewal. I firmly believe this innovative healing approach has the potential to significantly impact the lives of others facing similar challenges.

Therefore, I wholeheartedly recommend this program to anyone seeking profound healing and growth

When I first went to the grief and loss workshop, I felt I didn’t belong. When you think about grief and loss, you think of death. But as I opened up I quickly learned that there are many, many things that can cause grief. Then roller coaster events of ending my marriage, the loss of family members and friendships, the loss of my home…so many losses come with a divorce.

Everyone there made me feel so safe and listened to. They made me feel like I had the right to my feelings and it’s ok to go through the processes of grief as anyone else. Even if I still have a long road ahead of grieving, it was the best start for it!

The experience with the horses made it all that much more interesting and challenging. Knowing that you cannot hide from these creatures no matter how hard you try, you just had to go through it. Go through the emotions and if you don’t know what they are, the horses will tell you.

I definitely would recommend this to anyone who has had any kind of change in life. You are welcomed with open arms!

I never considered attending a grief and loss group to help process my marriage ending.  After attending, I soon discovered I was having such a hard time moving forward because I never allowed myself space to mourn the loss of my marriage.

I was hesitant about a group setting but to my surprise, I found it very healing to share and hear about other people experiences.  It made me feel much less alone in my grief.

The time with the horses is hard to put into words.  There is without a doubt a knowing and emotional support from the horses that I don’t understand how but it’s real and healing in ways I never expected.
