About Equine-Assisted Therapy

The Healing Power of Horses

The horse has been helping people through mental and physical recovery for thousands of years.  This incredibly intuitive animal is able to sense our emotions, heart rate, muscle tension and blood pressure. This amazing ability along with their unique personalities allows us to gain instant feedback on our own emotional and physical presence through their gentle mannerisms. The horse also accepts us as we are. Everyday, no matter what. There is no judgement here, just the space and calmness to be yourself and discover the incredible healing power of  being on horse time.

Equine-Assisted Therapy has been proven to increase the effectiveness of traditional counselling methods with the immediate non-judgmental feedback provided by the horse. Clients often see improvements more quickly.

Equine-Assisted Therapy is offered to everyone age 7 and older. Individuals, couples, and families are all welcome. Sessions are offered year round, weather permitting, and with our cozy, well-equipped onsite cabin available to take refuge in when needed to keep you warm and dry. No prior horse experience is necessary and your comfort level and safety protocols will be discussed prior to our first appointment.

I look forward to sharing this amazing experience with you. Please contact me with any questions.
